Nurturing Children, Christian Parenting, and Caregiving
Helping children know and love God and grow in faith by strengthening worship and prayer practices to respect how children experience God and express their faith, such as through music, art, drama, storytelling, and hands-on worship aids. Acknowledging the importance of formative experiences in setting the course of lifelong Christian faith, we aspire to foster multigenerational connections that strengthen faith formation and build lasting support systems for parish children. We seek to explore creative ways to include children as active participants in intergenerational worship and to also thread the message of God’s ever-present love throughout their daily lives. When our children attend corporate worship and witness and participate in acts of praise, prophetic messaging, prayers of petition, and shouts of gratitude, they stand in the midst of Grace. And the more we place them in the Way of grace through engagement in the language, movement, and sound of worship, the better the opportunity for their souls to encounter the God of grace.
We aim to help you create spaces where children feel heard, valued, and empowered on their faith journeys.
Ministry-in-Action Projects – MAPs
We are awarding mini-grants in support of your vision. “Ministry in Action Programs” – or MAPS – could be anything from field trips to cooking classes, planting gardens, providing homework help, hosting test prep, sponsoring social events, or hosting parents’ night out.
If your church could do one thing for you and your family, what would it be? Bring us your ideas!
